So I don't know if its our entire culture, the food, the vibe, the music, the people, the places, our beaches, our rainforests... is it all that diversity this little island, all that our 100x35 has to offer which makes it an incredible reason for it to be a dream to be Puerto Rican. Is it our mixed heritage and spanglish, attitude,and our unmatched "sazón" which will forever characterize us really unique. If you ask me its every single detail, it all contributes and singles us out, and I don't know about you but...

Maybe I'm biased since after all I was born and raised here, but let's stick to the positive facts then. Recently there were some studies published stating the perfect human is Puerto Rican. Yes it was only about the genome and we are
homozygous for all "good" alleles as stated in the article. Its pretty amazing, also our hospitality, how we become a team when times get tough, and how we are a traveler's destination. Our incontrolable strive to persevere, stand out and be distinguished. It's that mix that just makes us entirely unique. The opportunities for Puerto Ricans are countless we are all over the world and yet we never quite forget our roots for everywhere we go we're proud of them. Almost every reception is just positive "Ohh Puerto Rico the beautiful island, the beautiful people"... It feels great being from this amazing island, a privilege to have the opportunity to enjoy all of its wonders.
